<p>7 Irving- Perinatal is a 54 bed unit within Kienzle Family Maternity Center.# Perinatal nurses provide patient and family centered antepartum, postpartum and newborn care, working closely with other disciplines including but not limited to, lactation consultants, birth registrars, and care coordination.# # A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital.# This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties. # Education/Experience Requirements Required:## Graduate of an accredited associate degree <em>Must complete NCLEX within 120 days. Preferred:## Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree ########### </em>Bachelor#s degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017. # Licensure/Certification Requirements Required:## Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) at end of orientation Preferred: Certification in a specialty area.
