<p>The Opportunity</p> <p>Blueprint Income is looking for a self-starting and partnership-oriented New Business Specialist to join our New Business team. You will have a strong desire to broaden financial wellness and education to prospective clients around the country.</p> <p>The Team</p> <p>The new business team at BlueprintIncome.com works with potential client offering education and assistance with purchasing fixed and fixed indexed annuities online. The new business team also contracts different carriers and selects products to offer to our clients on blueprintincome.com</p> <p>The Impact</p> <p>In partnership with your New business director and associates, you build your knowledge of annuity products, riders, and concepts while gaining industry knowledge and insights on market trends. You'll respond to inquiries from our prospective clients and distributors on products, sales designs/concepts, and product positioning and you will you consult with our clients pre-and-post-sale technical product support. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <p>Proactively contact and consult with clients in pre-sale annuity education support</p> <p>Demonstrate understanding of annuities, financial planning industry and competitive landscape by building expertise of product positioning and sales concepts while continually gaining industry knowledge and insights on market trends</p> <p>Partner with the director of new business, new business specialist and other key associate partners while communicating confidently, driving sales and increasing awareness of blueprintincome.com</p> <p>Maintains sales call data in appropriate systems</p> <p>Utilize software tools including Salesforce, Gdrive, PowerPoint, Excel, Zoom, Illustration software, blueprint administrative panel.</p> <p>Provide sales and marketing materials and specific sales illustration support as needed</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma </li><li>2+ years' working experience with life/annuity clients </li><li>1+ years' experience internal wholesaling or providing sales solutions within financial services and/or financial institutions (banks, credit unions, wires, broker dealers) </li><li>State Life & Health at time of application or must obtain within 180 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years' experience internal wholesaling with life/annuity products </li><li>State Life & Health at time of application </li><li>Proven communication skills (both written and verbal) </li><li>Well-established self-management skills, e.g., time management, prioritization, managing internal and external relationships </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint </li><li>Extensive knowledge about individual life insurance products (i.e. Whole Life, UL, VUL and Term), practices, trends and information affecting the business and organization </li><li>Experience working with IMO's </li><li>Experience with Salesforce </li></ul> <p>What to Expect as Part of MassMutual and the Team</p> <ul> <li>Regular meetings with the new business team </li><li>Focused one-on-one meetings with your manager </li><li>Networking opportunities including access to Asian, Hispanic/Latinx, African American, women, LGBTQIA+, veteran and disability-focused Business Resource Groups </li><li>Access to learning content on Degree and other informational </li><li>Your ethics and integrity will be valued by a company with a strong and stable ethical business with industry leading pay and benefits. </li></ul> <p>#LI-JA1</p> <p>#LI-Remote</p> <p>Salary Range:</p> <p>$61,400.00-$77,300.00</p> <p>At MassMutual, we focus on ensuring fair equitable pay, by providing competitive salaries, along with incentive and bonus opportunities for all employees.
