<p>Job Description</p> <p>Under the direction of a Supervisor, performs support tasks related to the inventorying, distributing and unpacking supplies in a JIT system.</p> <p>Job Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>Inventories assigned areas on a daily basis to prepare the JIT order. To assure patients/care givers have the necessary supplies to provide appropriate care ("Right items").To assure patients/care givers have the necessary quantity of supplies to avoid run-outs while minimizing inventory expense ("Right quantity").Stocks the clean core in each unit to assure the orderly storage of supplies (binned and labeled). </li><li>Distributes and redistributes supplies as needed, utilizing the entire hospital's supply inventory as a "warehouse" to maintain sufficient supply levels. </li><li>Fills and delivers special departmental requisitions as directed. </li><li>Effectively communicates with personnel outside the department as needed. </li><li>Responds to Hospital disaster plans in accordance with disaster plan policy. </li><li>Fills and delivers requisitions and department orders as directed. </li><li>Informs supervisor of deviation of procedure. </li><li>Utilizes the work and safety equipment available for the use in job duties. </li><li>Participates in hospital and departmental mandatory education and disaster plan as directed. </li><li>Performs all receiving, mailroom and bulk stores functions as assigned or directed by supervisory personnel. </li><li>Regularly reports to work when scheduled </li><li>Adapts to new or unusual situations without affecting performance or work procedures within the department. </li><li>Adheres to Human Resource Policies and Procedures. </li><li>Maintains good working relationships with supervisors, peers, department managers and staff utilizing the NWH customer service philosophy. </li><li>Performs related duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualification</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent, required. </li><li>Supply management experience, preferred. </li><li>Additional Salary Detail </li></ul> <p>The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).</p>
