<p>DANCE TEAM HEADCOACH</p> <p>SPRINGBORO HIGH SCHOOL</p> <p>SUMMARY: This person will be employed on a supplemental contract and be assigned duties of Head Dance Team coach for High School activities. Reports to Athletic Director.</p> <p>DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Supervisory responsibilities for practice sessions and scheduled home and away games. </li><li>Organize and set all practice sessions. </li><li>Distribute, collect and maintain an inventory of all equipment and uniforms. </li><li>Keep all necessary records and forms. </li><li>Cooperate with all concerned in the athletic programs at Springboro. </li><li>Maintain discipline at all practice sessions, games and competitions. </li><li>Promote school and student pride by requiring dancers to behave in an appropriate and respectful manner when dealing with officials, players, coaches, spectators, and school personnel. </li><li>Arrange for and conduct selection procedures and try-outs for the following year's squad. </li><li>Perform other functions as necessary to implement goals and objectives of the dance and athletic programs at Springboro. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Valid teaching certificate/license (preferred) </li><li>Prior supervisory experience and/or knowledge of dance preferred. </li><li>Ability to work with young students and provide a positive influence on their lives. </li><li>Maintain current Pupil Activity Supervisor validation and CPR training certificate as required by Board policy and the Ohio Department of Education. </li><li>Must pass criminal background check. </li></ul> <p>CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Effective Date: 2025/2026 school year </li><li>Length of Employment: One-year supplemental contract. </li><li>Salary: According to the negotiated agreement. </li></ul>
