These initiatives are critical to Chase's ability to execute on its core strategies and meet the needs of our customers in a rapidly changing financial services ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to develop and lead these strategic initiatives that require careful consideration as well as a relentless focus on execution.</p> <p>The Home Lending team in Corporate Development is responsible for three primary functions on behalf of the Home Lending business: (1) identifying ways to grow and evolve the business through third-party strategies and transactions, 2) leading and executing on third-party initiatives, including evaluation and negotiation of all transactions, and 3) managing ongoing relationships with select strategic partners.</p> <p>As a Vice President on the Home Lending Corporate Development team, you will be a key member of a high performance team. You should be comfortable leading strategic analyses across multiple projects, forming meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and have experience in leading through influence across a large, multifaceted organization. You will support Home Lending's senior executives to evaluate how the financial ecosystem is changing, assess the implications to Chase, and identify external opportunities that will deliver value to our business and to Chase's customers. This role requires outstanding analytical skills, proven experience leading large strategic programs, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to produce flawless work across multiple projects-simultaneously. A passion for consumer financial services is a plus.</p> <p>Job responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of strategic inorganic opportunities for our Home Lending business </li><li>Collaboratively develop our book of work and pipeline of opportunities with the business, including identifying key elements of the strategy, analysis of the competitive landscape, leading diligence, and making recommendations </li><li>Lead presentations and proposals to senior executives across Home Lending and the broader Consumer & Community Bank </li><li>Lead relationships with external companies and stakeholders, acting as the lead point of contact for JPMorgan Chase </li><li>Develop and deliver specific partner proposals with the lines of business, including overall vision, partnership economics, and product integration </li><li>Work with Finance, Legal, Risk, and other functional partners to develop business cases, deal constructs and other key terms associated with partnerships </li><li>Monitor external environment for important competitive developments and potential partnership opportunities and share perspectives with key line of business partners </li><li>Ensure all deals are executed in accordance with firmwide policies, controls and procedures </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years in Corporate Development, Management Consulting and/or Strategy roles. Candidate must have at least 6 years of professional experience </li><li>Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross functional environment </li><li>Proven track record of leading large strategic programs </li><li>Ability to lead and own the end-to-end process to execute strategic partnerships and deals, including negotiation and business casing </li><li>Experience in managing and leading small teams </li><li>Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Exceptional oral and written communication skills </li><li>Organized, extremely detail-oriented, with strong project management ability </li><li>Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders </li><li>Experience and comfort presenting to senior management </li><li>Proficient MS Excel and PowerPoint skills </li><li>BS degree or equivalent experience required </li><li>MBA degree preferred </li><li>Prior experience working in financial services </li><li>Familiarity with the venture and fundraising ecosystem </li><li>Prior experience in Home Lending, Mortgage, or Fintech environments, especially in operational, strategy, or business development roles </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:</p>
