The company, formed in 2020 through the combination of Raytheon Company and the United Technologies Corporation aerospace businesses, is headquartered in Arlington, VA.</p> <p>The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Pension Investments Team:</p> <p>RTX Corporate is looking for a dynamic Alternative Investments & Analytics Manager. In this role you will support the management of over $100 billion in corporate pension and savings plan assets by executing a wide range of analytical and strategic responsibilities essential to the oversight and performance of plan investments.</p> <p>This is a Hybrid role. Preferred location for this role is Farmington, CT. Candidates who reside over 50 miles outside of the Farmington, CT area should be open to relocation.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Private Equity Oversight ($4.7B): Lead the management of the plan's private equity portfolio in wind-down. Collaborate with the plan's external private equity advisor to oversee pacing and distribution modeling. Focus on harvesting distributions, reviewing fund amendments, and identifying liquidity opportunities where economically advantageous. </li><li>Real Estate Oversight ($2.9B): Lead the management of the plan's real estate portfolio in wind-down. Develop and update the annual monitoring plan to evaluate performance, identify sale/refinance candidates, and forecast cash flows. Partner closely with the separate account manager to ensure alignment with plan guidelines and long-term objectives. </li><li>Private Fixed Income Support ($2.8B): Contribute to the selection and monitoring of private investment grade fixed income and private credit investments as part of the plan's LDI strategy. </li><li>Reconcile portfolio valuations and performance with the plan's custodian and external advisors on a monthly basis, perform valuation adjustments for annual reporting where necessary, and support plan audit and compliance requests for relevant asset classes. </li><li>Ensure appropriate benchmarking for illiquid asset classes. Perform performance attribution relative to benchmarks on a quarterly basis, accounting for benchmark inefficiencies (lagged reporting periods). </li><li>Directly support the development of the Pension Investments Database, involving the creation and automation of data pipelines, visualizations, and dashboards to support investment decision-making across the pension team. </li><li>Maintain and produce quarterly real estate asset class data collection and memo write-up for distribution to pension team and senior management. </li><li>Prepare and present quarterly reporting and presentation materials for the RTX Pension Administration and Investment Committee, which is comprised of senior leadership at RTX. </li><li>Manage administrative and legal processes related to existing investments. </li><li>Provide ad-hoc capital market research and analytical support to Pension Investment's Deputy CIO and CIO on a variety of special projects. </li><li>Be a proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, capable of independently driving initiatives forward, taking the lead on challenges, and identifying solutions with limited guidance. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications You Must Have:</p> <ul> <li>Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience </li><li>Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
