Award-winning brands include Belgard hardscape, Echelon Masonry, MoistureShield composite decking, RDI railing, Catalyst Fence Solutions, Sakrete packaged concrete, Amerimix mortar, Pebble Technology International pool finishes, Lawn & Garden mulches and landscape features, and Techniseal sands and sealant technologies.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall plant operations, including all production and ensuring all employees strive to meet the standards set forth by the company for Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Preventative maintenance, and Bottom-line results.</p> <p>Job Location</p> <ul> <li>This is an onsite role based in North Salt Lake, UT. </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all production employees </li><li>Provide leadership and direction for overall production in accordance with our vision and values </li><li>Inspire, train and coach team members on daily responsibilities, procedures, or process changes </li><li>Monitor performance of each team member and provide feedback </li><li>Work with Site Manager and Production Manager to improve manufacturing processes and ensure quality of products while maintaining a safe work environment </li><li>Plan and coordinate efficient use of employees, materials, and machine to meet business goals </li><li>Communicate necessary information and issues to employees and management </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience </li><li>Prior experience leading people in production, equipment, maintenance and/or quality control </li><li>Ability to interpret production reports and P&L statements </li><li>Strong background in maintenance with an understanding of processes and equipment </li><li>Proficient in MS Office suite, web-based data management tools and Internet applications </li><li>Strong accountability with excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Experience using Vorne or real time production monitoring system </li><li>Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and use of fall protection equipment </li><li>Able to perform job tasks in dusty, hot and/or cold working conditions </li><li>Must wear company provided personal protective equipment - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes*, and protective glasses </li></ul> <p>What CRH Offers You</p> <ul> <li>Highly competitive base pay </li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs </li><li>Group retirement savings program </li><li>Health and wellness programs </li><li>An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion </li></ul> <p>About CRH</p> <p>CRH has a long and proud heritage.
