<p>Activities and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Cycle count inventory and maintain an accurate inventory count for your product type all year long. </li><li>Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity. </li><li>Analyzes sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements. </li><li>Manages inventory levels, notify management of inventory issues, work with other departments well. </li><li>Answers order termination or cancellation requests from sales. </li><li>Reviews work in process material on production floor. </li><li>Receives and reviews sales orders against current requirements and work in process using the material requirement planning report. (MRP) </li><li>Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on material status and production planning issues. </li><li>Performs purchasing duties on "outside process materials" including order placement, expediting, coordinating receipt of material in production sequencing, and act as liaison with quality and engineering departments. </li><li>Maintains/updates manufacturing system/MRP system for assigned product types. </li></ul>
