<p>Overview</p> <p>Reporting to the WCPT VP of Corporate Underwriting the WC AVP will lead the growth of large and complex account business development, project oversight, client relations, financial management and staff development. This includes creating strategies to expand the market along with executing highly effective and extensive outbound efforts to develop relationships with existing and new clients that will lead to new business.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead critical team responsible for managing and developing AmTrust Workers Compensation large & complex account business. </li><li>Managing projects from scope to delivery. </li><li>Develop and execute a strategic, multi-year plan for growth </li><li>Establish service, product and cross-selling strategies </li><li>Identify new business opportunities while developing current client relationships. </li><li>Provide senior client leadership and project oversight. </li><li>Thought leader and subject matter expert. </li><li>Maintain an external position through national speaking engagements and Strategic Insight initiatives, including publications promoting expertise and innovation in the specialty </li><li>Liase with Portfolio and Governance </li><li>Mentorship of evolving leaders </li></ul> <p>This position will work alongside senior executive management in all areas.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of underwiting experience in workers compensation </li><li>Demonstrated success in program environment, underwriting management and influence </li><li>Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, productive manner </li><li>Communication skills are paramount, both written, oral and presentations </li><li>Travel as needed </li></ul> <p>The expected salary range for this role is $157,800-$235,000/year.</p> <p>Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
