The hours are</p> <p>1-5 pm - Primarily Capron, but able to move where needed</p> <p>5-9 pm- Primarily Poplar Grove, but able to move where needed</p> <p>5-9 pm - Primarily Middle School, but able to move where needed</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Provides cleaning and sanitary maintenance for classrooms, corridors, washrooms and other building areas as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps surrounding building areas free from rubbish and debris.</p> </li><li> <p>Cleans and replaces burned out lamps as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Shovels and operates mechanical snow removal equipment as required and directed by Head Custodian.</p> </li><li> <p>Moves furniture and sets up equipment as necessary for events.</p> </li><li> <p>Uses equipment, chemicals and equipment as directed.</p> </li></ol> <p>a. Follows guidelines for cleaning as established by Director of Facilities.</p> <ol start="7"> <li> <p>Reports any areas of major repair to the Head Custodian/Night Supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Reports damage to school property immediately to the building principal or Head Custodian.</p> </li><li> <p>Accomplishes minor repairs and assists other personnel as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Opens doors and provides security as directed.</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with all District policies, regulations and procedures as established by the Board of Education.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol> <p>Salary:</p> <p>Based on NBESS Contract Starting wage for 2025-2026 $18.03 per hour</p> <p>There are no benefits for part-time</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>High School Diploma preferred</p> <p>Positive and supportive attitude toward District philosophy and goals</p> <p>Demonstrated aptitude or competence for the assigned responsibilities</p> <p>Self-motivating</p> <p>Ability to implement directions</p> <p>Able to move and lift objects at least fifty pounds</p> <p>Valid driver's license</p> <p>Application Procedure:</p> <p>Apply Online at https://www.applitrack.com/nbcusd/onlineapp/default.aspx?Category=Maintenance%2fCustodial</p>
