Examples of specialized experience include: Knowledge of, and skill in applying, military personnel policies, procedures, regulations, and processes sufficient to serve as a technical authority covering Air Force procurement of resources, classification structures and procedures, test administration and interpretation, assignment policies and procedures, interviewing and guidance techniques of the personnel data system. Also, knowledge of translating program policies into directives, publications and oral instructions. Skills in making special studies requiring the search for and selection and evaluation of data. Correlates report data to foster and develop program management consistent with agency mission. Ability to compile, prepare, and track personnel accession data and then identify potential concerns to senior level management.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>EDUCATION: Successful completion of completed graduate level education in a field directly related to the position which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.</p> <p>OR</p> <p>COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of specialized experience and education as described above. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts with your application.</p> <p>FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-???????07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-???????08 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
