<p>The Campus Transfer Evaluator assists the Campus Director of Transfer Student Services at the Metropolitan Campus in evaluating previous academic credentials for incoming transfer students in order to award transfer credit, and provide counseling and academic advising to those students. The primary responsibilities of the Campus Transfer Evaluator are assisting with Metro transfer evaluations as needed, with a focus on transfer evaluations for students, including adult learners, in the Hispanic Center programs, and assisting as needed with the transition to NJTransfer and implementation of the University's Transfer Credit Estimator. The Campus Transfer Evaluator will also support, as needed and based upon availability, evaluations for Florham campus transfer students. The Campus Transfer Evaluator will report to the Metro Campus Director of CAASS.</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree required.</p> </li><li> <p>Two years of progressive experience in higher education. Prior experience with admissions or transfer students preferred. Experience in student services a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, organization and counseling skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work with a variety of university constituencies and a diverse group of faculty and students.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in the use of database systems and internet-access software. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Ellucian Colleague, Ellucian Advise, and Degree Audit preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</p> </li></ol> <p>Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
