<p>Long Term Substitute Custodian JobID: 1420</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Maintenance/Custodial/Custodian</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>6/9/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Whisconier Middle School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>ASAP</p> <p>&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Long Term Substitute Custodian for Whisconier Middle School</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES</p> <p>The duties and responsibilities include the daily overall care, cleaning, and maintenance of the facility to which he/she is assigned.</p> <p>JOB GOAL</p> <p>To maintain a clean, safe, and orderly indoor environment for students, staff, and visitors by performing routine custodial duties within the building, ensuring all assigned areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained in accordance with district standards.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, CAPACITIES</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, and blueprints. </li><li>Ability to interpret, understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. </li><li>Ability to perform hands on duties and physically able to manipulate heavy objects. </li><li>Ability to operate and use safely all equipment related to perform duties. </li><li>Proficiency in computer use for operational reports and maintenance of work order database, energy management systems, programmable equipment, etc. </li><li>General knowledge of basic trades including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and ability to perform general repairs as needed related to building custody. </li><li>A clear understanding of and ability to maintain on site all state mandated programs such as; </li><li>Asbestos Management Plan (AMP) </li><li>Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPM) </li><li>Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) </li><li>Blood Bourne Pathogens (BBP) </li><li>Green Cleaning </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent. </li><li>Must have an acceptable performance record. </li><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. </li></ul> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT</p> <p>As established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the Brookfield Custodian's Association.</p> <p>Hours = Daytime</p> <p>Brookfield Public Schools is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment.
