<p>Job Description</p> <p>The main responsibility of the Associate (Strategic) FAE position is to proactively support Vicor power solutions into various market opportunities with a primary focus in Data Center and AI applications. This involves providing additional technical support to strategic FAEs that are involved in pre- and post- Sales customer engagements.</p> <p>Job responsibilities:</p> <p>Lab work</p> <p>o Experienced in operating test equipment necessary in evaluating and debugging power supply products (ie. PSUs, DMM, Oscilloscopes, Frequency Generators, Network Analyzers,…)</p> <p>o Experienced in soldering through hole and SMD components</p> <p>o Experienced in data collection, analysis, and report writing</p> <p>Design review (schematic/layout)</p> <p>o Experienced in using schematic capture tools (ie. Allegro, Altim,..)</p> <p>Simulation</p> <p>o Experienced in using simulation software (ie. Spice, LTspice, Simplis, Sigrity,…)</p> <p>Education / Qualifications</p> <p>The candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering</p> <p>Minimum of upto 5 years related experience in either analog/power supply design or analog based applications engineering</p> <p>Base Level Electronics Technician skills</p> <p>Excellent understanding of analog design</p> <p>Excellent written/verbal communication skills.</p> <p>Experience in designing and or testing VR solutions for CPUs, GPUs, and or ASICs is highly desirable.</p> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.</p> <p>Vicor is an EO employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability</p> <p>Compensation Data</p> <p>Salary Range $75,000 - 90,000 plus a 20% cost of living adjustment</p> <p>Please note: This range is based on our current market driven pay structures. Individual salaries are determined based upon a variety of factors including but not limited to, a candidates overall qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience as well as company internal equity.</p>
