<p>Must Have Technical/Functional Skill</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. </li><li>Proven experience developing automated tests for UI components and end to end workflows, particularly with Storybook and Figma. </li><li>Strong experience with Playwright, Jest, or similar modern testing frameworks. </li><li>Hands-on experience with visual testing tools such as Applitools. </li><li>Practical knowledge of automated accessibility testing (axe-core, Pa11y, or equivalent). </li><li>Experience validating design tokens and enforcing design system consistency. </li><li>Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). </li><li>Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or related languages. </li><li>Demonstrated AI fluency, including practical use of AI tools or agents in engineering workflows. </li><li>Experience building, extending, or integrating MCP tooling, skills, or agent-based integrations. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience writing automated tests directly within the Storybook ecosystem. </li><li>Experience with Figma APIs, plugins, or design system automation. </li><li>Familiarity with MCP-based agent architectures, AI orchestration frameworks, or internal developer platforms. </li><li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). </li><li>Prior experience in quality engineering, test automation, or platform enablement roles within product development teams. </li></ul> <p>Roles & Responsibilities</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Core Testing & Design Validation</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain robust automated test cases for Storybook components, ensuring UI consistency, behavior, and design fidelity. </li><li>Create and execute Figma-based tests to validate design prototypes, interactions, and token consistency against design specifications. </li><li>Build and maintain end to end tests using Playwright for browser automation, UI validation, and interaction testing. </li><li>Leverage Applitools to implement visual regression testing and ensure pixel perfect UI consistency across releases. </li><li>Conduct automated accessibility testing using industry standard libraries (e.g., axe-core, Pa11y) to ensure compliance with accessibility standards. </li><li>Validate design tokens (colors, typography, spacing, motion) to ensure correct and consistent implementation across the UI. </li></ul> <p>DevOps & Test Platform Enablement</p> <ul> <li>Integrate automated testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and scalable test execution. </li><li>Improve test reliability, execution speed, and signal to noise ratio through framework enhancements and pipeline optimization. </li><li>Analyze test results, failures, and trends to identify systemic issues and improve overall design and product quality. </li><li>Document test strategies, tooling, and results to support transparency, reuse, and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>AI Fluency & MCP Tooling</p> <ul> <li>Apply AI assisted testing techniques to accelerate test creation, maintenance, debugging, and root cause analysis. </li><li>Design, build, or extend MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools and skills that enable AI agents to: </li></ul> <p>o Understand UI components, design systems, and test context</p> <p>o Assist with test generation, validation, and repair</p> <p>o Interact with CI/CD pipelines, test results, and design artifacts</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and DX teams to integrate AI agents and MCP tooling into existing engineering workflows. </li><li>Evaluate emerging AI, agentic, and testing technologies and recommend practical adoption paths that improve quality and developer productivity. </li></ul> <p>Collaboration & Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with design, engineering, product, and platform teams to understand requirements and deliver high quality testing solutions. </li><li>Advocate for shift left quality, design validation, and automation-first practices. </li><li>Stay current with trends in UI testing, accessibility standards, DevOps automation, AI enabled engineering, and agentic workflows. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range $110000-$125000 years</p> <p>TCS Employee Benefits Summary:</p> <p>Discretionary Annual Incentive.</p> <p>Comprehensive Medical Coverage: Medical & Health, Dental & Vision, Disability Planning & Insurance, Pet Insurance Plans.</p> <p>Family Support: Maternal & Parental Leaves.</p> <p>Insurance Options: Auto & Home Insurance, Identity Theft Protection.</p> <p>Convenience & Professional Growth: Commuter Benefits & Certification & amp;
