The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the technical aspects of Baseball, with the ability to lead and inspire student-athletes.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Head Coach in planning and executing daily practice sessions for the JV baseball team. </li><li>Provide technical coaching and mentorship for athletes, helping them improve their skills in various aspects of the game (e.g., hitting, fielding, pitching, baserunning). </li><li>Cultivate a positive, competitive, and disciplined team atmosphere. </li><li>Monitor and assess players' development, providing constructive feedback for improvement. </li><li>Ensure the safety and well-being of athletes during practices, games, and events. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must hold a valid CT Coaching Certificate. </li><li>Must have current 1st Aid/CPR Certification and Concussion Module certification. </li><li>Extensive knowledge of baseball's technical aspects and a commitment to staying current with new strategies and theories. </li><li>Previous coaching experience at the high school or JV level is strongly preferred. </li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work well with athletes, parents, and fellow coaching staff. </li><li>Passion for teaching the game of baseball and helping athletes develop their skills both on and off the field. </li></ul> <p>Brookfield Public Schools is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment.
