<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Dentist provides comprehensive, patient-centered dental care within an ambulatory care setting, supporting Hamilton Health Center's mission to deliver accessible, high-quality services to the community. This role is responsible for diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical care delivery while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure continuity and excellence in patient outcomes.</p> <p>Benefits Offered</p> <p>In addition to your base compensation, you are eligible for:</p> <ul> <li>Generous paid time off </li><li>Birthday holiday and 7 paid holidays </li><li>Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage </li><li>Company-paid life insurance. </li><li>Retirement Plan with matching opportunity </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Clinical Care & Patient Management</p> <ul> <li>Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning </li><li>Provide preventive, restorative, and basic surgical procedures within scope </li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) </li><li>Educate patients on oral health, treatment plans, and preventive care </li></ul> <p>Care Coordination & Team Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and care team members </li><li>Refer patients to specialists as appropriate </li><li>Support continuity of care across departments </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Quality Standards</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to infection control standards (ADA, OSHA, CDC guidelines) </li><li>Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies </li><li>Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited program </li><li>Current or eligible Pennsylvania dental license </li><li>Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain) </li><li>CPR certification </li><li>Eligible for credentialing and participation with payer programs </li><li>FTCA eligibility </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a community health or FQHC setting </li><li>Experience serving diverse and underserved populations </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li></ul> <p>All About Hamilton Health Center</p> <p>Hamilton Health Center (Hamilton), established in 1969, is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in Harrisburg, PA.
