<p>Courses to be taught:</p> <p>FSM103 Hospitality and Resort Operations</p> <p>FSM120 Front Office Operations</p> <p>FSM153 Convention Sales and Services</p> <p>FSM210 Hospitality Facility Maintenance</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Deliver course content that aligns with the college's curriculum standards and student learning outcomes.</p> <p>Develop course syllabi, assignments, and assessments that reflect current industry practices and ensure course outcomes are met.</p> <p>Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles and promotes student success.</p> <p>Use technology and other resources to enhance course delivery and student engagement, including online, hybrid, or face-to-face modalities.</p> <p>Maintain accurate records of student's progress and grades.</p> <p>Must adhere to mid-term verification and final grade posting deadlines.</p> <p>Adhere to institutional policies and procedures, including those related to academic integrity and accessibility.</p> <p>Knowledge of the hospitality segments and how they connect to provide customer satisfaction. One hospitality industry certification in any one of the segments.</p> <p>Experience Requirements:</p> <p>The equivalent of one year's full-time, non-teaching experience (2,000 hrs) in lodging management, convention management and/or tourism.</p> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <p>The equivalent of one year's full-time, non-teaching experience (2,000 hrs) in lodging management, convention management and/or tourism and three (3)or more years' experience teaching full-time courses in lodging management, Convention sales and services or tourism.</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in hospitality management ora related field.</p> <p>Preferred Education Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, lodging management, event management, tourism, and/or marketing.</p>
