<p>We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Sanitation Supervisor - Overnight in New York! About DO & CO We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 33 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly - sometimes beyond our own expectations. Responsibilities: Manage and supervise the internal sanitation team to maintain proper sanitation and cleaning schedules in accordance with DO & CO hygiene standards. Oversee routine locker room cleaning and collaborate with the Hygiene and Quality Assurance Manager to meet company, industry, and regulatory sanitation requirements. Coordinate with vendors to order and maintain food-grade chemicals, ensuring appropriate inventory levels and proper usage. Ensure Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical supplier specifications are current and accessible; oversee PPE availability and proper training. Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs). Verify chemical titrations with suppliers and monitor daily chemical concentrations of dispensing equipment. Analyze sanitation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Support customer audits, health department inspections, and other regulatory reviews. Implement and maintain daily sanitation schedules and the Master Sanitation Schedule. Coordinate with Food Safety and Hygiene teams on environmental testing and maintain the Environmental Testing Program. Provide leadership, coaching, and training to sanitation staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper chemical handling. Partner with supervisors and HR to address sanitation protocol violations and implement corrective actions when needed. Oversee internal employee and client sanitation training programs. Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met. Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing and maintaining required documentation and reports. Maintain and report on sanitation and quality performance metrics. Coordinate sanitation efforts with other departments, especially in high-traffic operational areas. Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience in sanitation or a similar role. At least 3 years of sanitation experience in a food production, manufacturing, or hospitality environment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of HACCP, ISO standards, and food safety systems. Food Safety Certification and HACCP Certification preferred. Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred. Strong understanding of sanitation operational procedures and compliance standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment. Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized. Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures. Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
