Join High Concrete in Denver, PA, where your future is built to last.</p> <p>We are actively searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our maintenance team at High Concrete! The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controling plant maintenance operations to provide safe and efficient facilities management and plant/manufacturing equipment maintenance. Player / coach role. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead, manage and work with the maintenance technicians, maintenance sub-contractors and internal stakeholders. The Maintenance Supervisor will collaborate with plant managers, operations team managers, Engineering team members, and safety personnel, and entire maintenance team to achieve project and business objectives.</p> <p>Position requires on-site support during active production schedule and occasional Saturdays.</p> <p>Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Manage 8-10 coworkers and $1 million+ maintenance budget </li><li>Supports HCG operations management environmental, health, and safety programs with the goal of an incident-free workplace while conducting all activities in accordance with all applicable federal (OSHA), state and local laws and regulations. Works in conjunction with the Corporate Safety, Health and Environmental Department and provides information as required to comply with governmental regulations and company standards. </li><li>Manages the work of department staff on a daily basis to accomplish business objectives as required, most importantly preventive maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and facilities. Assesses needs and works with staff to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiencies. </li><li>Responsible for $1M+ in total maintenance expenses spent annually. Rationalizes capital and expense needs as required to mitigate unneeded spend while meeting operational objectives. </li><li>Establishes and executes short and long-term maintenance plans addressing equipment requirements, method improvements, and utility/energy efficiency in keeping with continuous improvement projects and manufacturing objectives including asset management. </li><li>Supports efforts to improve operating performance, reduce waste (time and materials), and/or increase throughput. Project champions may come from other departments yet project management through successful turnover to the project champion resides with this manager. </li><li>Prepares capital appropriation requests and other project materials for management review. Leads the execution of most capital projects. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office products, SAP applications and CMMS software. </li><li>Attends various meetings, training seminars and special courses, etc. as directed by the PI Engineering, Maintenance and Asset Manager. </li></ul> <p>Experience, Skills, Training and/or Education required:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated competence in leading maintenance and trades personnel. </li><li>Basic math and ability to interpret manuals, drawings and schematics required. </li><li>Proven skills in determining equipment specifications, maintenance and installation needs. </li><li>Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects required. </li><li>Excellent management, communication, and interpersonal skills required with the ability to build and maintain relationships and interact effectively with other departments. </li><li>Experience with maintenance software package(s) and Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PPT). Basic database and SAP knowledge preferred. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes/techniques and OSHA regulations. </li><li>A minimum of 3 years plant maintenance and/or facilities management work experience preferred required (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.). </li></ul> <p>License, Certificates or Registrations Required:</p> <ul> <li>LEAN certification training or willingness to acquire post-hire </li><li>Trade school completion required (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.). </li><li>Master Trade license preferred (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.). </li><li>Universal refrigerant certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year) </li><li>First Aid/CPR Certification, preferred </li><li>10-hour OSHA Course Certification. 30 Hour OSHA course preferred </li><li>NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Certification </li></ul> <p>Working for The High Companies:</p> <p>High Concrete Group LLC combines innovation, proven technology, more than three-quarters of a century's experience as a precast company, and over 50 years as a precaster.</p> <ul> <li>Excellent benefits including medical, dental and vision available for full-time coworkers.
