Key responsibilities also involve network monitoring, troubleshooting connectivity issues, performing security assessments, and ensuring firewalls are up-to-date. Engineers work with Panorama for centralized management and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure network security and performance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Deployment and configuration: Install, configure, and manage Palo Alto firewalls in various environments (on-premises and cloud). </li><li>Policy and rule management: Implement and maintain security policies, access controls, VPNs, and NAT rules. </li><li>Monitoring and incident response: Monitor network traffic, analyze logs, and respond to security events and incidents. Participation in 24/7 on call rotation. </li><li>Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex network and firewall-related issues. </li><li>Maintenance: Keep firewall software, threat databases, and licenses up-to-date. </li><li>Optimization: Optimize firewall performance and ensure high availability. </li><li>Key skills and knowledge </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Security products:</p> <ul> <li>Expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and the Panorama management platform is crucial.
