<p>Prestige Stamping LLC is a high volume manufacturer of tight-tolerance washers and other small metal stampings. We provide stampings to the automotive, construction, agriculture and heavy truck industries.</p> <p>Prestige Stamping LLC is currently seeking candidates for the position of:</p> <p>Press Operator</p> <p>Afternoon & Midnight Positions Available</p> <p>Afternoon Shift Hours are 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm</p> <p>Midnight Shift Hours are 11:00 pm - 7:00 am</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Before starting any assignment, inspect the equipment - machinery, etc., to be used for safety and operational defects. </li><li>Notify the Supervisor of any equipment defect and if possible, correct the malfunction or write maintenance request. </li><li>Operate the press machinery to produce the desired number of pieces in accordance with the Supervisor's instructions. </li><li>Frequently check, as well as have the QC Inspector check, the quality of the parts being produced. </li><li>Report all quality irregularities to Supervision, or Leader. </li><li>Report any possibly contaminated Hoppers to Supervision. </li><li>When necessary, take die sections out of the die, and install when needed. </li><li>Complete any other task assigned by Supervision. </li><li>Keep machinery, equipment and surrounding area in a clean condition at all times. </li><li>Learn and follow all Safety rules and Company policies. </li><li>Be able to remove a die shoe out of an OBI Press. Follow proper procedure. </li><li>Load coils, keep cradle walls in proper position, and monitor the cradle operation while running the press. </li><li>Learn to safely band coils and band them back to skid when being returned. </li><li>Keep steel lined up, and guide pin marks off the steel. </li><li>Prepare all paperwork related to the job. (E.O.R.
