<p>NNSA - building careers while securing the future through engineering, science, and national security in an environment where your contributions make a difference.</p> <p>As the Deputy Associate Administrator, Enterprise Stewardship you will have the following duties:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as NNSA executive leadership, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders on packaging and transportation, nuclear materials integration, and environmental and waste management. </li><li>Support the Associate Administrator for Environment, Safety and Health as a mission enabler, applying a commonsense approach to requirements rather than a one-size-fits-all compliance. </li><li>Develop and implement a commonsense approach to enable timely material movements, waste disposition, and facility space liberations to support pit production schedules and mission operations. </li><li>Direct and lead the development of integrated plans for consolidation and disposition of excess nuclear materials, certification, procurement and maintenance of NNSA packaging, and environmental and waste management. Manage functions and operations for hazardous materials to ensure the safety and protection of the workers, public and the environment. </li></ul>
