<p>About the role:</p> <p>The Data and Evaluation Associate plays a crucial role in supporting early childhood education programs through meticulous data collection, data presentations, and authentic assessment support. This position involves scheduling and conducting various data collection activities, including child assessments, classroom observations, and participant interviews. The Associate ensures the confidentiality of all data collected and performs clerical tasks such as data entry and quality checks. Additionally, the role includes providing administrative support, creating reports, assisting with data visualization, and disseminating findings. The Associate also monitors child development data, supports accurate data collection, and collaborates with educational managers and coaches to implement quality improvement strategies.</p> <p>Who we are:</p> <p>Clayton Early Learning is a leading nonprofit dedicated to advancing early childhood education and improving family outcomes through high-quality programming, comprehensive research and evaluation, and community-driven initiatives. At Clayton, we believe that a great place to work isn't just about the job but the people who create success together.</p> <p>What we want you to do:</p> <p>Data Collection</p> <ul> <li>Schedule data collection activities (e.g. participant recruitment and study consent, child assessments, and classroom observations) with instructional teams in early childcare settings. </li><li>Participate in data collection activities, including administering norm-referenced, standardized child assessments and participant interviews (including face-to-face interviews, focus groups, telephone, and other technology assisted interviews.) </li><li>Conduct CLASS observations in classrooms at Educare Denver and in the Denver area. </li><li>Collect parent and staff survey data, which may involve preparing interviews, in-person visits to drop off and collect surveys, and telephone follow-up. </li><li>Meticulously adheres to policies to protect the confidentiality of human subjects participating in evaluation studies. </li><li>Complete all necessary paperwork related to data collection (including scoring of assessments) and perform other clerical tasks, such as data entry, as required by the research. Provide quality checks on data collected and entered. </li><li>Occasionally within-state travel is required to complete data collection. </li><li>Obtain informed consent from research participants; ensure participants fully understand the study's purpose and procedures and secure their voluntary agreement to participate in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements </li><li>Data SHARING </li><li>Provides general administrative support to the program team such as creating reports, assisting with analyses and data visualization, drafting correspondence, and other special projects. </li><li>Assists with the training and troubleshooting of employees and provides on demand training. </li><li>Creates and disseminates relevant information to all department staff. </li><li>Present data during meetings, trainings and conferences for early childhood professionals; attend meetings, workshops and conferences related to educational evaluations matters. </li><li>Assist with dissemination of findings from projects conducted by the team, including analyzing data, conducting literature reviews, writing dissemination reports, and presenting. </li><li>Demonstrate responsible professional behavior by participating effectively within and across Clayton's departments and teams. </li><li>Authentic Assessment support </li><li>Monitor child development data collected through authentic assessment by teachers using TS GOLD. </li><li>Provide support to ensure authentic assessment data is being collected accurately. </li><li>Assist with the training and troubleshooting of TS GOLD. </li><li>Create and disseminate relevant information about child authentic assessment data to all relevant staff </li><li>Partner with data coaches and educational managers to implement quality improvement strategies </li></ul> <p>What you must have:</p> <ul> <li>Education: [Bachelor's degree e.g., bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Child Development, Psychology, Social work, or a related field preferred] </li><li>Experience: 1 year minimum- two years preferred. </li><li>Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including CBI/FBI fingerprinting.
