Our goal is to create a workplace where all employees feel included, empowered and enabled to perform at their best.</p> <p>Great American is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Representative who is enthusiastic about sourcing and contracting to join the Human Capital Category within our Strategic Sourcing Department. The Human Capital team manages professional service engagements including but not limited to managed service programs (MSP), statements of work (SOWs), or consulting engagements. The Human Capital team also manages the onboarding process for external contractors and contingent labor.</p> <p>This position will be located in our Cincinnati office and will operate on a hybrid schedule. Remote applicants may be considered for the right experience.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for moderately complex to complex strategic sourcing projects in the Human Capital Category. Evaluates the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need for customers. Supports management on highly complex strategic sourcing projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Studies market trends, interviews suppliers, and recommends sources of supply and/or solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Compiles and analyzes statistical data to establish price objectives for contract transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops RFx (Request for Information, Request for Proposal, or Request for Quote).</p> </li><li> <p>Issues RFx and coordinates the submission process. Conducts due diligence disclosure.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates supplier responses and supports analysis and business unit decision process.</p> </li><li> <p>Negotiates standard contract terms and conditions as well as key business terms.</p> </li><li> <p>Works as a liaison between vendors and the business.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Business Owner and legal staff to address contractual issues and concerns</p> </li><li> <p>Support and/or develop strategic sourcing strategy for Human Capital Category (professional services, managed services, consulting, contingent labor, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures trends in the business environment are effectively monitored. Researches new trends or advances in products to assist business units in finding solutions and making appropriate buying decisions. Remains current on changing business needs and potential industry issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures questions are researched and appropriately addressed.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates the implementation of new services with suppliers and business stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Review and redline contractual documents such as Statements of Work, Professional Service Agreements, and Managed Service Agreements.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skillset</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage multiple sourcing and contract activities</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze, summarize, and present key sourcing findings to business stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate and coordinate the contracting process with other shared services such as legal, enterprise information security, AP, and HR</p> </li><li> <p>Provide strong customer service skills to internal stakeholders to navigate our concierge strategic sourcing process</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or a related discipline.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Generally, 4 or more years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, buying, or purchasing.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in leading and influencing cross functional teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in leading contracting and redlining efforts</p> </li><li> <p>Capable executive communicator, both written and verbal</p> </li></ul> <p>Business Unit:</p> <p>AFG Procurement</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Compensation varies by role, position level, and location.
