Develops communication objectives, strategies and plans that help meet key communication needs.\nIdentifies communication needs of various audiences.\nWrites, produces and disseminates content, including:\n\nintranet articles\ndigital and print signage\nkey messaging documents to help managers effectively cascade information and speak with one voice\ntable tents\nscripts for videos\npresentations and meeting support materials\n\n\nParticipates in communication measurement activities that help monitor effectiveness.\nSupports strategies to collect feedback and enable two-way communication between employees and leaders.\nShares best practices with partner areas to help improve communication effectiveness across the company.\nParticipates in editorial planning for Sargento communication channels, generates new content ideas, consistently uses editorial planning tools to help manage content development across the department.\nEnsures content reflects the voice, tone and culture of the organization. Ensures content reaches appropriate audiences by guiding distribution channel selection and release schedule (cascade).\nOversees digital signage to help inform and engage the Sargento Family.\nMaintains knowledge of Sargento business practices, goals and culture.\nAssists with other communication-related work as needed and other duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications:\n\nExcellent written and oral communication skills. Experience writing for a variety of media and formats.\nDemonstrated ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.\nExceptional storytelling skills.\nAbility to think creatively and work collaboratively on communications initiatives from concept through execution and measurement. Must be flexible and able to adjust quickly to changing needs of the organization. Ability to manage content approval process.\nEffective interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization. Must demonstrate professionalism and ability to maintain confidential information.\nStrong project management skills, comfortable determining relative priority of projects, and the ability to work under deadline. Ability to carry a significant writing and project workload.\nDetail oriented with a working knowledge of AP Style.\nHighly developed Microsoft Office skills, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Working knowledge of content management systems and web technology.\nExperience with digital photography, video production and presentation software preferred.\n\nYour Education and Experience.\n\nBachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English or related field required.
