Together we will create a brighter future and make a meaningful difference.</p> <p>As a Lead Data Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you play a crucial role in an agile team dedicated to improving, developing, and implementing data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions that are secure, stable, and scalable.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Generates data models for their team using firmwide tooling, linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms </li><li>Architects new or improved data structures and delivers data management strategy </li><li>Evaluate processes in tech and product and drive data aspects while laying out the strategy </li><li>Delivers data collection, storage, access, and analytics data platform solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way </li><li>Implements database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy </li><li>Evaluates and reports on access control processes to determine effectiveness of data asset security with minimal supervision </li><li>Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Formal training or certification on Data Engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Expert knowledge in data management strategy and working on data pipelines</p> </li><li> <p>Expert in databricks</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with AI/ML and data science</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in and agile team and being a strong communicator</p> </li><li> <p>Working experience with both relational and NoSQL databases</p> </li><li> <p>Experience and proficiency across the data lifecycle</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Applicable certifications are a plus </li></ul>
