<p>About the Role:</p> <p>Your goal is to ensure producers get the right feed, on time, every time. As a Poultry Field Service Representative, you will support poultry producers across Pennsylvania and Virginia by visiting farms, collecting feed samples, and serving as a key communication link between producers, nutritionists, and the Kalmbach Nutritional Services (KNS) team. You will divide your time among farm visits, the Pennsylvania feed mill, and your home office.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the Account Manager to understand and meet the needs of each assigned account. </li><li>Conduct farm visits to assess pellet quality, investigate quality concerns or damage, and report findings to the Account Manager to develop action plans. </li><li>Obtain and submit feed samples for laboratory evaluation as needed. </li><li>Field and place phone calls to producers regarding deliveries, schedule changes, and quality issues; participate in occasional video meetings. </li><li>Cross-train with feed mill staff in Pennsylvania to understand feed scheduling and provide backup support. </li><li>Remain available for emergency producer calls during nights and weekends on a rotating basis (about one week per month). </li></ul> <p>The Right Candidate:</p> <ul> <li>Solid background in basic animal husbandry; direct experience with poultry production is a plus. </li><li>Familiarity with complete feeds and their on-farm application. </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Demonstrates patience, professionalism, and the ability to work with a diverse group of producers. </li><li>Comfortable communicating by phone, email, text, video, and in person. </li><li>Able to lift up to 50-lb feed samples and travel 60-70?% of the time within Pennsylvania and Virginia. </li><li>Willing and able to work in a hybrid arrangement (field, feed mill, home office). </li></ul> <p>About the Team:</p> <p>We believe our Field Service Team is critical to delivering extraordinary service.
