<p>Role Summary</p> <p>URBN is hiring a Global Income Tax Manager! We are seeking a technically strong, hands-on and detail-oriented tax professional to join our Global Income Tax team. The ideal candidate brings a solid federal tax compliance and tax accounting foundation combined with meaningful international tax technical depth. This individual must have excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, and have the ability to interact with all levels of personnel internally and externally.</p> <p>Role Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Preparation of E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, and Foreign Tax Credit calculations, including all supporting work papers and required research. </li><li>Preparation of international forms for foreign entities, including Forms 5471, 8858, and 8865 </li><li>Participation in preparation of U.S. federal tax return (Form 1120), including proformas, complex book/tax adjustments, provision to return reconciliations, supporting work papers, and associated research. </li><li>Assistance with preparation of quarterly and annual federal and international tax provisions (ASC 740), including calculation of book/tax differences, reconciliation of tax payable and receivable accounts, memos (valuation allowances, unremitted earnings, other ASC 740 areas), and international tax accounting calculations. </li><li>Support tax inputs for preparation of foreign jurisdiction statutory financial statements and tax returns. </li><li>Direct assistance in additional tax matters including, but not limited to, audits, notices, planning and other reporting requirements. </li><li>Active participation in department-wide initiatives, process improvements, and ad hoc projects as the needs of a dynamic global tax function evolve </li></ul> <p>Role Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5-8 years of progressive tax experience with meaningful exposure to both federal and international compliance. </li><li>Big Four or large public company corporate in-house tax experience. </li><li>Strong ASC 740 / tax provision foundation, including direct responsibility for preparing provision schedules. </li><li>Hands-on experience with E&P, Subpart F, GILTI, and Foreign Tax Credits. </li><li>Experience preparing international information returns (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865). </li><li>Experience preparing U.S. federal consolidated tax returns (Form 1120), including proformas and schedule M adjustments. </li><li>Proven project and time management capabilities, with demonstrated experience managing multiple tax projects and meeting firm deadlines. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders including the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals </li><li>Familiarity with Pillar Two / GloBE framework. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Oracle, CorpTax, and OneSource experience a plus. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MST preferred. </li></ul> <p>#LI-MH3</p> <p>The Perks</p> <p>URBN offers comprehensive Perks & Benefits to employees.
