<p>About the role</p> <p>As a Delivery Leader, QEA - Life Sciences, you will make an impact by driving end-to-end quality engineering, validation, and delivery excellence across complex, regulated programs. You will be a key member of the delivery leadership team and work collaboratively with engineering, platform, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, compliant, and scalable solutions.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Define and drive testing and quality engineering strategy across programs, including GxP, lean validation, risk-based testing (CSA/RBT), automation, and quality metrics. </li><li>Lead GxP validation and compliance activities, including change management, audit readiness, and regulatory documentation support. </li><li>Embed quality engineering within SDLC and SAFe Agile, guiding scenario-based discussions, test estimation, and release readiness. </li><li>Manage and govern automation solutions (UI, API, data, regression) integrated with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/SAFe delivery frameworks. </li><li>Provide leadership across key enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Veeva Vault, LIMS, Patient Engagement systems, and Pharmacovigilance solutions. </li><li>Define, track, and communicate Agile and quality metrics-including velocity, predictability, defect trends, and automation ROI-to senior stakeholders. </li><li>Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, manage multiple concurrent workstreams, and quickly adapt to shifting priorities. </li></ul> <p>Work model</p> <p>We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Raritan, New Jersey. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.</p> <p>What you need to have to be considered</p> <ul> <li>Proven Life Sciences domain expertise. </li><li>Strong experience in Quality Engineering and Automation Architecture within GxP-regulated environments. </li><li>Expertise in GxP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, CSA, and lean validation approaches. </li><li>Hands-on experience with Agile and SAFe, including estimation methods and Agile metrics interpretation. </li><li>Deep exposure to enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Veeva Vault, LIMS, Patient Engagement platforms, and Pharmacovigilance systems. </li><li>Strong background in test automation frameworks, DevOps integration, and SDLC governance. </li><li>Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple simultaneous initiatives. </li></ul> <p>These will help you stand out</p> <ul> <li>Experience leading multi-tower transformation or modernization programs within Life Sciences. </li><li>Thought leadership in quality engineering, automation strategy, or compliant digital delivery. </li><li>Strong ability to influence executives and drive alignment across technical and business stakeholders. </li><li>Demonstrated success improving delivery predictability, automation maturity, and audit readiness. </li></ul> <p>Salary and Other Compensation</p> <p>Applications will be accepted until March 9, 2026</p> <p>The annual salary for this position is between $96,750 - $153,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.</p> <p>This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:</p> <p>Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance</p> <p>Paid holidays plus Paid Time Off</p> <p>401(k) plan and contributions</p> <p>Long-term/Short-term Disability</p> <p>Paid Parental Leave</p> <p>Employee Stock Purchase Plan</p> <p>Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.</p> <ul> <li>Please note, this role is not able to offer visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future* </li></ul>
