Join us in building a future of accessible, innovative, and compassionate care.</p> <p>About the role</p> <p>The Revenue Cycle Management Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of billing operations, including coding, charge entry, claims filing, and payer & patient accounts receivable follow-up, denials, and payment posting. The Specialist will work to resolve issues to maximize collections and enhance patient satisfaction.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Monitor the day-to-day flow of recorded visits, coding, charge entry, and claims filing </li><li>Perform payer accounts receivable follow-up, work denials, and handle patient collections </li><li>Process and post payments to patient accounts </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve billing issues to maximize collections </li><li>Communicate with patients when it pertains to insurance, billing or patient account related questions </li><li>Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Manager, Finance team and other departments to ensure smooth revenue cycle operations </li><li>Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid requirements </li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations </li><li>Assist in creating and monitoring effective revenue cycle KPIs and standardized reporting </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support LifeMDs mission and values </li></ul>
