<p>Description</p> <p>SUMMARY: Supports Patient Care Manager in implementation and monitoring of the</p> <p>patient care delivery system and related nursing practice standards in</p> <p>collaboration with the nursing leadership team. Responsible for the quality</p> <p>of patient care and provides leadership, coordination of unit, including day</p> <p>to day management and evaluation of nursing staff. Accountable for</p> <p>ensuring quality, financials, employee engagement, and patient experience</p> <p>in alignment with the organization's strategic goals.</p> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education: BSN or Advanced degree in nursing required (or completion of either</p> <p>within 2 years).</p> <p>Experience: 2 years of relevant clinical experience, with 1 year of leadership</p> <p>experience or demonstrated leadership skills. Nursing Certification in</p> <p>leadership or related specialty preferred. Membership in a</p> <p>Healthcare/Nursing professional organization preferred.</p> <p>License: New York State RN License (Vassar Brothers Hospital, Putnam Hospital,</p> <p>Northern Dutchess Hospital)</p> <p>CT State RN License (Danbury Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, New Milford</p> <p>Hospital, Sharon Hospital)</p> <p>Certifications required based on unit specialties</p> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity</p> <p>Occupational: Some occupational risk</p> <p>Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort.
