<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Yard worker is responsible for maintaining the property and equipment at various locations of the organization.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Checks equipment in or out as needed </li><li>Verifies that equipment is in good mechanical and safe operating condition upon being taken out or being returned </li><li>Responsible for red tagging equipment that needs repair </li><li>Assists drivers with loading/unloading as necessary </li><li>Ensure checks to verify stock levels for reordering are accurate as possible </li><li>Get material out ready for the issuing job </li><li>Preload all trucks scheduled for delivery the next day </li><li>Other duties as required </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to use basic tools </li><li>Knowledge of construction materials </li><li>Effective communication and listening skills </li><li>Attention to detail, highly organized, self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>2 Years related yard experience </li><li>Forklift Certification experience may be required </li></ul> <p>Salery Range: $20 - $23 per hour</p> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Accountable </li><li>Builds Trust </li><li>Communicates Effectively </li><li>Promotes company </li><li>Confident </li><li>Customer Focused </li><li>Manages Conflict </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.</p> <p>View Company Information</p> <p>To see other positions, click here.</p>
