<p>Position Scope:</p> <p>This position will be the primary finance person for Commissions (internal/external), Royalties, GPO Fees and support month end closing tasks related to revenue, COGS and inventory Additionally, they will prepare and support inventory/COGS reporting (eg: inventory reconciliations, gross margin analyses, support audit requests) and other related tasks as assigned.</p> <p>Strategic Focus Areas:</p> <ul> <li>Revenue </li><li>COGS/Inventory </li><li>Commissions </li><li>Royalties </li><li>GPO Fees </li><li>Fixed Assets </li><li>Month and Quarter End Closing </li></ul> <p>Specific Tactical Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare monthly accrual entries related to commissions, royalties and GPO fees </li><li>Perform reconciliations of all commission, royalties and GPO fee balance sheet accrual accounts. </li><li>Prepare month end journal entries for open sales order revenue accruals </li><li>Prepare revenue reconciliations. </li><li>Prepare standard margin analyses for the COGS presentation file. </li><li>Assist in preparing inventory reconciliations </li><li>Assist with preparation of COGS presentation file </li><li>Assist with MFR slides for COGS, Inventory and Mfg Variances </li><li>Prepare monthly Variable compensation calculation and submission to payroll for payment. </li><li>Prepare quarterly variable compensation bonus calculation </li><li>Prepare monthly and quarterly distributor commissions including dispersing statements to distributors </li><li>Review GPO fee calculation and prepare submission to accounts payable for payment </li><li>Support Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets or other department needs as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Job Complexity:</p> <p>The position requires a comprehensive understanding of general accounting principles. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires reconciliation and evaluation of identifiable factors.
