<p>Description</p> <p>Job Title: Key Management Encryption Engineer</p> <p>Duration: 12 months with extension possible to 18 months</p> <p>Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days per week onsite)</p> <p>Other Approved Locations: Jacksonville, FL or Plano, TX</p> <p>Pay Scale: $85-90/hr W2 (Cannot subcontract or C2C)</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Seeking a senior Key Management Encryption Engineer with experience supporting encryption technology operations and leveraging Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and other user Key Management solutions. We are looking for an engineer to design, deploy infrastructure, perform configuration and general management activities on Key Management solutions both on prem and in the cloud.</p> <p>Primary responsibilities will be to develop Key Management solutions to integrate and monitor cryptographic appliances and assist in POCs and other product/version certification activities.</p> <p>Proficiency in key management systems and tools (e.g., HSMs, KMS, PKI) including:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of cryptographic algorithms and protocols </li><li>Experience with security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) </li><li>Familiarity with cloud-based key management services (e.g., AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault) </li><li>Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems </li><li>Strong experience with automation using Perl, python or PowerShell </li><li>Familiarity with cloud-based key management services (e.g., AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault) </li><li>Use of monitoring tools i.e. Splunk, Elastic, Prometheus/Grafana stack, ELK, etc. </li><li>Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Go) and experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). </li><li>Experience using Utimaco, Thales, Gemalto, Vormetric, CipherTrust Manager, or Entrust products for HSM and other Key Management components. </li><li>Working knowledge of JIRA and Agile Scrum routines </li></ul> <p>About Matlen Silver</p> <p>Experience Matters.
