This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an innovative leader to come in and have an immediate impact.</p> <p>The Installation Technician is responsible to install and assist in all phases of installing, testing and servicing/troubleshooting security, access control and video systems at customer sites. To that end, the Installation/Service Technician may interact directly with the client, client representatives, other contractors and Kastle personnel to ensure a successful installation project/service call. We are proud to be a Certified Great Place to Work with awards for being a Top Work Place with Top DE&I Practices!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Installs, tests, and troubleshoots new CCTV, access control, and security systems accurately and on time following Kastle's procedures and quality control standards. </li><li>Pulling cable, rough in/patch in, bending conduit, terminate. </li><li>Identify any issues regarding timeline or progress and communicate to supervisor. </li><li>Stays up to date and knowledgeable in Kastle services, technology and internal processes/procedures. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>2 or more years' experience installing:</p> </li><li> <p>commercial access control, video systems, low voltage and commerical wiring/cabling</p> </li><li> <p>Door hardware, electric and mechanical locking devices</p> </li><li> <p>Knowlege of building codes pertaining to construction and electrical systems</p> </li><li> <p>High School diploma/GED preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Technical/Trade/Vocational school certificate in electronics/electrical is desirable</p> </li><li> <p>Strong electronics knowledge/background (AC/DC theory, series and parallel circuits, open/close loops) and ability and knowledge to use digital volt meters</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of IP, Ethernet, and networking protocol and Cat5 technologies preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Statement</p> <p>At Kastle, we believe that diversity makes us stronger - at work and in the world.
