<p>Nature of Work</p> <p>Under direct supervision of the district supervising engineer, performs professional engineering work for the Beckley District Office of the Environmental Engineering Division within the Office of Environmental Health Services. Duties of this position is to perform professional engineering work for a variety of technical assignments requiring engineering education, training and experience to assist water systems to comply with current and future agency rules, regulations and operating procedure, with an emphasis on public water supplies that are regulated under the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. Other duties are to: conduct inspections, investigations, and evaluations of water and wastewater systems for the benefit or public health and the environment. Review and evaluate engineering reports, plans and project sites, provide professional and technical assistance regarding public health engineering concerns, furnish administrative and technical assistance regarding water and wastewater systems during catastrophic and emergency situations and respond to public health and environmental concerns of the general public and other public officials and entities.</p> <p>Click The APPLY Link To Apply Online.</p> <p>IMPORTANT:Your eligibility will be based on information provided in your resume or application; therefore, make sure your resume or application is detailed and complete.
