<p>The Commercial Account Executive role focuses exclusively on formulating and building a sales strategy within an assigned territory, resulting in revenue growth and new customer acquisition. You will report into a Sales Director working in a small, tight knit team.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Identify, qualify and close a sales pipeline (100% net new logos) </li><li>Prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & technical end-users </li><li>Build relationships that result in growth opportunities </li><li>Partner with our Solution Engineers and utilize the village throughout the sales cycle </li><li>Participate in our sales enablement trainings </li><li>Business deal-making capability, and the ability to ferret out opportunities, create relationships, find the hidden issues during due diligence, and bring the transaction to closure. </li><li>Demonstrated track record in planning and implementation of new business activity involving new technology </li></ul> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience growing revenues to a substantial level and scale bookings growth and net-new customer </li><li>2-4 years of experience in sales functions - preferably 2+ years in SaaS related sales </li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience </li><li>Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time </li><li>Consistent track record of quota achievement in the SaaS industry, closing deals exceeding $50k ARR </li><li>Experienced in selling SaaS-based solutions, managing complex sales practices and solution-based selling to CXO, senior management and director-level individuals </li><li>Proficient with web-based demo software and tools </li><li>Stellar work ethic, passion for closing and exceptional drive </li><li>Strategic thinker with the ability to execute both short-term and long-term sales plans </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere </li><li>Strong planning, writing, presentation and communication skills </li></ul> <p>Pay Range (OTE): $170,000 - $220,000</p> <p>Other Types of Pay: Based on level and role the employee may be eligible for long term incentives in the form of equity and short term incentives of either bonus or commission.</p> <p>Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, Employee Assistance Program (EAP).</p> <p>Retirement Benefits: 401(k) plan</p> <p>Paid Time Off: Talkdesk offers an uncapped paid time off program, subject to manager approval and consistent with business needs.</p> <p>Paid Holidays: Talkdesk offers 14 paid holidays each year.</p> <p>Paid Sick Leave: Employees have uncapped paid time off, subject to manager approval and consistent with business needs.</p> <p>Method of Application: Apply online.</p> <p>Application Window: The application window is expected to close at least 5 days from the posting date.
