<p>Clackamas Community College (CCC) Learning Center is establishing a Tutor applicant pool for the course: Introduction to Welding in Spanish student tutors needs for the term. To learn more about CCC visit Leadership, Vision and Initiatives.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <p>Tutors provide one-to-one and small group tutoring to students in their subject area.  In addition to tutoring, tutors are expected to maintain orderliness and decorum in their tutoring areas.</p> <p>Auxiliary Job Functions:</p> <p>May provide assistance to other department personnel as workload and staffing levels dictate.  Maintain proficiency by attending training and meetings, reading materials, and meeting with others in area of responsibility.  Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Students need to be enrolled at CCC in at least 1 credits (enrollment requirement waived in summer term).  </li><li>Successful demonstration of competency in Welding for which they will be tutoring. </li><li>Spanish bilingual </li><li>Completion of appropriate classes (as determined by CCC department chair of that subject area) with preferably an A. </li><li>Recommended for this position by a faculty member in the appropriate subject area </li></ul> <p>The physical demands listed below represent those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
