Fast forward to today, that dedication to quality and understanding of players' needs has turned Marucci into an All-American success story, the number one bat preferred by players and The Official Bat of Major League Baseball (MLB).</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Marucci Sports is looking for an Inventory Analyst in Baton Rouge, Louisiana! You will be responsible for maintaining the organization's inventory, ordering and supplying necessary items, while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. You will also be responsible for monitoring and analyzing inventory levels, supply chain performance, and market trends to ensure efficient stock management and meet customer demand.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock up to pre-authorized limit as inventory dwindles. </li><li>Establish and maintain backup source for high-demand items. </li><li>Assess inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery. </li><li>Provide inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager. </li><li>Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors. </li><li>Maintain accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made. </li><li>Manage and maintain inventory system; facilitate upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager. </li><li>Conduct frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory. </li><li>Assist with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits. </li><li>Operate forklift truck when necessary. </li><li>Perform other related duties as requested. </li></ul> <p>Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:</p> <ul> <li>Verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. </li><li>Excellent communication skills internal departments and outside vendors. </li><li>Basic understanding of inventory control procedures. </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. </li></ul> <p>Position Qualifications:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with inventory systems required. </li><li>At least two years' related experience required. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment and Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: This list does not represent all physical demands.
