This position offers the opportunity to engage in a collaborative environment where you will make a personal impact every day.</p> <p>We are looking for a Facilities Specialist who will be responsible for managing maintenance, repair, and capital improvement activity across an assigned portfolio of stores. This role oversees reactive repairs, preventive maintenance programs, and capital projects, ensuring stores are maintained to GNC standards in a timely and cost-effective manner. The position partners with vendors, landlords, and internal teams to resolve issues, control expenses, and support store operations.</p> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Maintenance & Repair Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage break/fix and preventive maintenance activity across an assigned store portfolio </li><li>Review, approve, and track service requests for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs </li><li>Make timely decisions on repair vs. replacement based on cost, urgency, and asset condition </li><li>Ensure issues are resolved quickly to minimize impact on store operations </li></ul> <p>Vendor & Landlord Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Manage relationships with service vendors and ensure quality, cost, and responsiveness meet expectations </li><li>Coordinate with landlords on property-related repairs and pursue reimbursements where applicable </li><li>Resolve code compliance and regulatory issues with municipalities and third-party partners </li></ul> <p>Capital Projects & Cost Control</p> <ul> <li>Identify and manage capital repair and replacement projects within assigned region </li><li>Develop scopes of work, review bids, and support vendor selection </li><li>Track project progress, ensuring completion on time and within budget </li><li>Monitor expenses and provide budget-to-actual analysis and variance explanations </li></ul> <p>Reporting & Process Support</p> <ul> <li>Prepare reporting on maintenance activity, vendor performance, and capital spend </li><li>Support development of process improvements and cost-saving initiatives </li><li>Maintain accurate records of repairs, assets, and project activity </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Support</p> <ul> <li>Partner with Store Operations and other internal teams to resolve maintenance issues and support initiatives </li><li>Support energy efficiency and equipment upgrade programs as needed </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>None</p> <p>PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear </li><li>Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. </li><li>Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include long periods of computer screen usage, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus </li><li>The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate </li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Facilities, or related field; or equivalent experience </li><li>3-5+ years of facilities, property management, or retail maintenance experience </li><li>Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) </li><li>Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings preferred </li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong communication skills with ability to work across vendors and internal teams </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facilities/work order systems </li><li>Self-motivated with strong attention to detail </li></ul> <p>GNC Holdings, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
