Responsible for daily operations in the Ortho Radiology department assigning work responsibilities and insuring staffing is appropriate. Provides guidance and technical assistance, monitors adherence to guidelines and regulations for record keeping and quality control, and interacts effectively with imaging and medical/clinical staff, patients and other customers. Provides constructive direction and support to Imaging staff and leadership. Exemplifies organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Performs all duties outlined in the Radiologic Technologist job description. Serves in a formal preceptor role to onboard new employees.
