<p>Description</p> <p>Job Title: Night Warehouse Selector</p> <p>Department: Warehouse</p> <p>Location: FoodPRO (Frederick, MD)</p> <p>Reports To: Night Warehouse Manager</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>FoodPRO is looking for a full-time Night Selector. The night selector is responsible for picking product in our warehouse using a state of the art RF Scanning system (BFC) and will help load trucks for the next day's deliveries. Night Selectors get paid an Incentive - Piece Pay Rate (averaging $25/hr); training pay is $20/hr. Criminal background checks and drug screens will be conducted prior to start date.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Select orders in an accurately, safe, and consistent way using an electric pallet jack </li><li>Selecting pieces and building pallets for next day deliveries </li><li>Stacking pallets correctly </li><li>Work well with other team members </li><li>Maintain per hour piece count while keeping error rate low </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Essential Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years or older </li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills </li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision </li><li>Ability to understand and follow directions </li><li>Strong work skills and detail for task performing </li><li>Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Motorized pallet jack/rider experience </li><li>Experience working in a warehouse </li><li>Forklift experience is preferred </li><li>Picking (selecting orders) experience </li><li>Night shift experience </li></ul> <p>Education: High School Diploma or GED</p> <p>Physical Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to physically lift 75+ pounds of product safely. </li><li>Must be able to physically operate warehouse equipment </li><li>Must be able to squat, bend, push and pull frequently and safely. </li></ul> <p>Environment Details:</p> <ul> <li>Freezer, Cooler, and Dry Warehouse Environment </li><li>Temperatures varying from 0 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit </li></ul> <p>Hours: 5 days/week; 4-6:30PM Start</p>
