With a focus on person-centered approaches and community integration, we strive to create a fulfilling and an enriching experience for those we serve.</p> <p>Job duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and enhance the landscaping of our grounds, including mowing and trimming </li><li>Ensure the grounds are safe, clean, and inviting for employees and visitors </li><li>Collaborate with the maintenance team on special projects and events </li><li>Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing, and de-icing walkways </li><li>Ensure lawn care equipment (mowers, trimmers, and blowers) is properly maintained, cleaned and stored after use </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 pounds regularly </li><li>Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. </li><li>Must have a valid Ohio driver's license with no more than 5 points in the last 3 years, and no more than one at fault accident. </li><li>Must be able to provide proof of auto insurance. </li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older. </li><li>Must be able to stay awake for the entire shift. </li><li>High School Diploma or GED Preferred </li><li>Three to six months related job experience or training necessary </li><li>Must be able to add, subtract, divide and multiple in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. </li></ul> <p>Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and email.</p> <p>Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.</p> <p>Heinzerling Community is a Substance Free Workplace and does not accommodate the use of drugs or medical marijuana.</p> <p>PAY RATE + HOURS:</p> <p>$17.75 / hour</p> <p>7:30am - 4:00pm</p> <p>Monday - Friday with some on-call responsibilities</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Paid Training </li><li>Immediate accrual of Paid Time Off </li><li>Retirement plan with 50% company match </li><li>Tuition Reimbursement </li><li>Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the 1st of the month after only 60 days of employment </li></ul> <p>To get a better idea of the work environment, check out the Welcome to Heinzerling video on YouTube.</p>
