<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Youth Justice and Education Services</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Traffic Safety Flagger Instructor to deliver high-quality training in work zone safety and flagging operations. The instructor will teach state-approved flagger procedures, provide hands-on demonstrations, and certify participants in accordance with regulatory standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Teach work zone safety, traffic control, and flagging procedures. </li><li>Deliver classroom and hands-on instruction following state, OSHA, and ATSSA guidelines. </li><li>Administer written/practical assessments and issue certifications. </li><li>Prepare training materials and maintain accurate records. </li><li>Ensure a safe, compliant, and engaging learning environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Instructor-level certification </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish/English) </li><li>CPR/First Aid certification </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2-3 years' experience in traffic control, construction safety, or related field. </li><li>Current Flagger Certification (state DOT/ATSSA or equivalent). </li><li>Prior training or teaching experience preferred. </li><li>Strong communication and safety leadership skills. </li><li>Valid driver's license: ability to stand and demonstrate physical tasks. </li></ul>
