<p>POSITION SUMMARY</p> <p>The Helper is responsible for cleaning inside buildings and maintaining the outside ground maintenance at the facilities.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>(This is a representative list of the duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.)</p> <ul> <li>Maintain grounds maintenance around the facilities by weedeating, killing weeds with chemicals and picking up trash </li><li>Clean and disinfect designated building areas which includes dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents and restroom cleaning </li><li>Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities </li><li>Perform heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as needed </li><li>Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs </li><li>Make adjustments and/or minor repairs </li><li>Stock and maintain supply room inventories </li><li>Cooperate with other department staff </li><li>Obey and follow all safety rules and policies </li><li>Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE) </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent education </li><li>Basic written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Must have the ability to perform work accurately </li><li>Must be reliable and have good time management skills </li><li>For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen </li><li>For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Stand - Frequently </li><li>Sit - Occasionally </li><li>Use Hands - Frequently </li><li>Climb - Occasionally </li><li>Kneel - Occasionally </li><li>Lift/Carry over - Frequently (up to 50 lbs.) </li><li>Vision - Required (Must be able to pass vision exam per appropriate medical requirements) </li><li>Hearing - Required (Must be able to pass an audio test per OSHA standards) </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <ul> <li>Wet or Humid (non-weather) - Occasionally </li><li>Working near moving mechanical parts - Frequently </li><li>Working in high places - Occasionally </li><li>Exposed to fumes or airborne particles - Frequently </li><li>Exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals - Occasionally </li><li>Outdoor weather conditions - Frequently </li><li>Risk of electric shock - Occasionally </li><li>Work with explosives - None </li><li>Risk of radiation - None </li><li>Noise Level - Very Loud </li></ul> <p>ACKNOWLEDGMENT</p> <p>I have reviewed and understand the above job description and believe it to be accurate and complete.
