<p>Company Description</p> <p>Keypath Education is supporting Elmhurst University's search for adjunct clinical nursing faculty in the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) and Master's Entry in Nursing Practice (MENP).</p> <ul> <li>Location: Chicago, IL </li><li>Job Type: Part-time; Contract </li></ul> <p>The Elmhurst University Department of Nursing and Health Sciences is seeking Clinical faculty in the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Med-Surg </li><li>Obstetrics </li></ul> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This position works in clinical settings with groups of nursing students, helping students apply theory to practice situations and develop critical thinking skills.</p> <ul> <li>Supervise a group of 4-8 Elmhurst students onsite in the clinical setting </li><li>Hours vary by course, and range from 8-12 hours per day, depending on the clinical site </li><li>Grade clinical paperwork </li><li>Communicate with course coordinator of progress of clinical students </li><li>Serve as a liaison between the clinical agency and the course coordinator </li><li>Supervise unlicensed nursing students </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Currently active unencumbered IL RN license </li><li>Bachelors and earned master's degree in nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN </li><li>Previous Clinical teaching experience </li><li>Reliable transportation to clinical agency sites </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Accredited by the CCNE* and ranked by U.S. News & World Report as a leading Midwest university.
