We want your knowledge and expertise!</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>The Pharmacy Intern, under the supervision of a Pharmacist, performs technical functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution, provides inpatient pharmaceutical services including compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical supplies, intravenous admixtures and narcotics. May assist in the provision of drug consultation to patients, physicians, nurses and hospital personnel. The Intern, under the direction of a licensed Preceptor, must complete all activities as required by Rose Medical Center Pharmacy Intern program and the Colorado State Board of Pharmacy</p> <p>What qualifications you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Intern License - Colorado State Board of Pharmacy </li><li>Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate from, an accredited School of Pharmacy. Maintenance of a satisfactory grade point average is required. (Good Standing) </li><li>Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail. Able to develop skill in drug compounding, preparing IV admixtures and chemotherapy, and general dispensing functions. Possess communication, teamwork, customer service, computer, problem-solving, and organization skills. As further defined in position competencies. Ability to work with automated systems.
