<p>Description</p> <p>Works under the supervision of the Medical Director to evaluate, diagnose, and provide medical management for clients with co-occurring disorders, including the treatment of substance use concerns.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Licensed with two years of experience with ambulatory detoxification and/or chemically supported treatment and currently licensed in Connecticut. </li><li>Experience with Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD). </li><li>Must be able to work effectively across cultures and demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of Latino and African American communities. </li><li>Provides psychiatric evaluations, medication monitoring and psychiatric consultation. </li><li>Collects and organizes information related to individual client, family, medical, substance use and mental health history, and onset/severity of symptoms obtained from client, family members, and other pertinent treatment providers. </li><li>Provides medication education for individual clients, staff, and families as necessary. </li><li>Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing consultation for clinical staff. </li><li>Completes clinical and medical documentation for individual client records. </li><li>Must have excellent communication both verbal and written. </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle. </li></ul>
