You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, as well as common areas, while providing excellent customer service.QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Housekeeping experience desirable but not needed.</p> <p>Must be at least 18 years of age.</p> <p>Neat, pleasant personality.</p> <p>Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively.</p> <p>Ability to read room numbers, dates and basic instructions.</p> <p>Ability to use mobile device that displays work functions.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Keep work cart and chemical caddies orderly and properly stocked at all times.</p> <p>Inspect room linens before placing in rooms and return below standard pieces to Housekeeping.</p> <p>Proper utilization of equipment supplies and guest amenities.</p> <p>Thorough cleanliness and sanitation of guest bathrooms.</p> <p>Daily changing of soiled linens on beds and remaking beds following the property standards.</p> <p>Thorough cleanliness of rooms, balconies and room furnishings.</p> <p>Constant awareness of safety hazards, (i.e. broken glass, frayed electrical cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons) and report to the Housekeeping Office.</p> <p>Strict follow through on lost and found procedures. Absolute respect for guests' property should always be exercised.</p> <p>Practice safety standards at all times.</p> <p>Responsible care of equipment.</p> <p>Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule, to maintain accurate time records and follows proper standards for issuance of rooms.</p> <p>Remain alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and co-workers at all times.</p> <p>MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds </li><li>Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned. </li><li>Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours. </li><li>Perform other related duties as requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor, or Housekeeping Manager. </li></ul> <p>ENVIRONMENT: Indoor work with hard and carpeted surfaces.
